The foods with onion and garlic you need to keep away from your dog. Be careful to keep the dogs away from the FLAVORED foods, with the most dangerous RAW onions and garlic. When these vegetables are eaten bu the pets (especially dogs), gastrointestinal irritation or red blood cell damage can occur. Depending on the amount of digested foods, age and weight of dog and specie of dog, damages can be more dangerous. The components of the onion family have poisonous effects on the dog’s body, and unfortunately this effect can be seen within 3-4 days, not immediately. If your dog is showing an unusual NUMBNESS, or if her urine goes into ORANGE or RED, contact your veterinarian or call the ASPCA.
