Raw Meet and Raw Egg (1/11)

Raw meat and raw eggs contain SALMONELLA BACTERIA, which can be very dangerous for both humans and pets. In particular, very young and very old dogs and who have recently been treated with antibiotics (antibiotic use kills beneficial bacteria in the intestines and weakens the immune system) are under high risk. Salmonella can also be TRANSMITTED to humans, so if you see the following symptoms on your dog, remember to check yourself after you have contacted your veterinarian. Indications for salmonella; DEHYDRATION, IRRITABILITY, FEVER, loss of appetite, weight loss and in more serious cases EXTREME HEART BEAT, SHOCK, and DEATH can be seen. Also, the enzyme called avidin, which is found in the raw egg, may cause skin and fur problems by inhibiting the absorption of vitamin B.
